Biggest aluminum manufacturer in Brazil, Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio, one of Votorantim Metais units, has had a successful history, marked by pioneering, technological innovations and socio-environmental responsibility.

The factory, located in the municipality of Alumínio (SP), enters the ISO 14001 international standard and is considered the biggest plant in the world to operate completely vertically – it makes, in the same place, everything from the processing of the bauxite to the manufacturing of forged and processed products such as ingots, dowels, rebars, coiled boards, plates, sheets, profiles, screens and cables.

It focuses on the internal market, the consumption goods, civil construction, packaging, electricity, recycling and transport segments. Part of its production goes to the external market, mainly the United States, Europe and Latin America.

VM – CBA products are synonyms of quality in the national and international markets. All of them have had the ISO 9001 quality international certificate since 1997.

The company continuously invests in the expansion of the production capacity and in the development of new Technologies, seeking to guarantee the offer of innovation products and with high added value.

As a result of these initiatives, the creation of the largest and most modern Aluminum Profile Surface Treatment Center in Latin America is outstanding, allowing for the production of all the coating options currently available in anodizing and electrostatic dust paint.

VM – CBA exclusively has Multicolor CBA’s Italian technology for the production of anodized profiles with differentiated colors, in addition to the traditional colors. The production of these new profiles mainly serves civil construction and mobile industries.
