Our commitment to the development of Brazil and investment in society has been a reality in Votorantim Group since its establishment, in 1918. With the business expansion and the modernization of the business practices in this area, the strengthening of the synergy between the social initiatives and our business partners has become essential, generating a shared value – for the society and for the company. Thus, in 2002, the Votorantim Institute was established.

In practice, the Votorantim Institute is involved in youth and sustainability causes, and offers support to projects which benefit the young public, which represents an important transforming force in the society.

By following the Votorantim Institute’s guidelines, Votorantim Energia supports projects with a strategic focus on the training of 15 to 29 year old young people in order to provide professional qualification and education opportunities and contribute so that they have important roles and positively influence their family, school, community and the society itself.
