Nickel
The electrolytic nickel produced by Votorantim Metals is 99.9% pure, exceeding the specifications of the most demanding applications on the market.
Its excellent physical and chemical quality allows uniform dissolution in galvanoplastic baths, preventing the formation of metallic residues. It is also used in superalloys and non-ferrous alloys.
This product is available in diverse sizes to meet the specifications of each individual application.
The electrolytic nickel of Votorantim Metals is registered on the London Metal Exchange (LME).

Nickel Matte
Nickel matte is obtained following fusion of concentrated nickel sulfate in the Fortaleza de Minas unit. Matte is an agglomeration that contains iron, copper and cobalt, in addition to nickel.
After fusion, the matte is granulated to a particle size of <12 mm. The granulated material is exported to Finland for refining and production of electrolytic nickel, nickel briquettes, and nickel salts.
