Used extensively in electrolytic galvanization processes, this product is commercialized in the form of granules that vary from two to seven millimeters in diameter.

The storage, packaging and transport process of zinc granules manufactured by Votorantim is demanding. Once they are ready, the granules are placed in polypropylene sacks with internal plastic bags, which range in capacity from 1 to 1.5 metric tons. The sacks are then stored in locations protected from weather and transported in lined trucks.

Made of SHG zinc accredited by the LME (London Metal Exchange), Votorantim zinc granules meet BS EN 1179:1996 and ASTM B6:1998 standards.
