Cadmium
Used in the production of Ni-Cd batteries, metal alloys and as pigment for special inks, Cadmium is traded in sticks of 230 grams and Ø 12 x 240 mm size, on average.

When ready, the product is packed in 25 kg carton boxes or 1,250 kg wooden boxes.

The Cadmium produced by Votorantim Metais complies with the ASTM B 440 rule.

It is stored in a place protected against weather inclemency and it is transported on heavy flatbed trucks, protected through a canvas.

Copper Sulfate
Widely used in agriculture, cattle raising, mining, electro-galvanizing and in the chemical industry, Copper Sulfate is traded as pent-hydrated thin blue crystals (CuSO4. 5H2O), with 2.285 g/cm³ of density.

The Copper Sulfate is highly corrosive, so direct contact with the skin should be avoided. It is recommendable to use the Self-Protection Equipment (EPIs - Equipamentos de Proteção Individual).

Packed up in polypropylene sacks of 25kgs, Copper Sulfate Crystals are stored in places protected against climate inclemency and transported heavy flatbed trucks, protected through canvas.

Sulfuric Acid
This product is used in the manufacturing process of agriculture fertilizers. Liquid, colorless or with a slightly yellow (turbid) color, the Sulfuric Acid is corrosive, therefore the use of the Self-Protection Equipment (EPIs) is recommended to avoid direct contact with skin.

Transportation is made on tanker trucks.

The Sulfuric Acid that Votorantim Metais produces complies with the ASTM E 1011 rules.

Liquefied Sulfur Dioxide
The Liquefied Sulfur Dioxide is used as a bleacher for cellulose, sugar and kaolin. It is also used as a food products preservative.

Since it is a corrosive product, the use of self-protection equipment (EPIs) is recommended, so as to avoid direct contact with skin.

Like other liquid products from Votorantim Metais, the Sulfur Dioxide is transported on tanker trucks.
