The ombudsman is a channel created by Votorantim to deal with problems related to the Code of Conduct, a document that defines the standards to be followed by the group in its relations with all of its stakeholders.
Violations of the Code of Conduct can be reported, and requests for clarification can be made regarding issues such as corruption, bribes, fraud, environmental damage, false information, inappropriate accounting, misuse of company property, discrimination (racial, religious, sexual, age, physical condition, or social class) and unethical behavior and procedures. All of these subjects are covered by the Votorantim Code of Conduct.
Cases sent to the Ombudsman are dealt with by the Company’s Conduct Committees, which are made up of professionals with special training in dealing with issues quickly and confidentially.
Messages can be sent in either of two ways: anonymously, or with identification if you desire a response. All information will remain confidential.
